WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW - This is a complete remote starter kit compatible with Chevrolet Spark 2012-2022 - Gas. This kit includes a remote starter and immobilizer module. Firmware preloaded for your vehicle. All components required for installation are included. Automatic Transmission ONLY Requires Windows PC with USB port to complete set up. The remote entry system in some vehicles does not work while the vehicle is running. See Product Description for more details

PLUG & PLAY INSTALLATION TYPE - This kit uses a plug-in T-Harness which dramatically reduces number of wiring connections that typical systems require. The installation of this product will require only the plug-in connection. We provide concise instructions with plug locations for seamless installation. Adding additional options may require additional wiring connections. A person with basic knowledge of wiring car electronics should be able to install this product successfully.

It took two very skilled technicians to both, separately, and finally arrive at the result that this is a faulty product. These shops install these for a living. They know what they’re doing. The troubleshooting/customer service they had to go through was ridiculous. Place a phone call. They say someone will call them back. They don’t. Meanwhile my car is trapped at the shop while they’re waiting on an answer that never came, which lead them to starting an online request via email. In which they would receive delayed answers to questions and seeming speculative tone as though the problem certainly couldn’t be the product. This is all about firmware and software and of course updates are needed and compatibilities have to be discovered, aligned, etc., but what we received was a faulty product, which the technicians KNEW immediately yet the three weeks of back and forth and I finally made the request to just return it. Luckily the shops didn’t charge the HOURS of labor. If they each charged me for the time it would have been well over $1000. I do thank this company for granting me a return but the process to arrive at this result lost me as a customer for life. And I offer this review to say, if you’re trying to cut corners by purchasing this, don’t. Just go to a shop that already does this with their own equipment. That’s how I finally got mine. Four weeks and $400 later.
