WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW - This is a complete remote starter kit compatible with Infiniti QX56 2011-2013 - Push-to-Start - Gas. Includes an all-in-one remote starter data interface module and T-Harness. Firmware preloaded for your vehicle. All components required for installation are included. Automatic Transmission ONLY Requires Windows PC with USB port to complete set up.
REMOTE START FEATURES - This is an Add-on remote start system for vehicles with existing keyless entry. Does not include remotes - this uses your factory remotes to start your vehicle by pressing the "lock" button three times. No need to carry extra key fobs! Warm or cool your car from the comfort of your home.
SEMI PLUG & PLAY INSTALLATION TYPE - This kit uses a plug-in T-Harness which dramatically reduces number of wiring connections that typical systems require. The installation of this product will still require some wiring connections. We provide concise directions with wire colors and locations. A person with basic knowledge of wiring car electronics should be able to install this product successfully.

My husband and I installed this together. He is extremely handy and reached the grumbling point a few times. It is more intense than plug and play. We spent about 6 hours doing it, being VERY thorough before we modified any wires. We watched the videos and read the tip sheet many times. They do not always match, be wary.Now that it is successfully installed, I am happy, but I would advise that you read the instructions very carefully. There are some ambiguous graphics and grammatical errors that make it hard to understand exactly what to do. We figured it out after trial and error.At the end, the module could not complete successfully. I emailed the company and they responded very quickly and assured me I did not need any other parts (some web search results will make you think you do). I tried again to complete the module decrypter, which was preloaded and said any Nissan model would work. I realized it auto entered my car as an Altima. When I corrected this it updated perfectly and we finished easily.I plan to buy agin for our other vehicles, I expect it will be very simple now that we have done it once.
