This is a great training collar. The only problem is 1: the collar that came with my first one broke in 2 days. I had to use another strap from a small back pack we had. 2: although the remote battery last a very long time the collar battery last about a week and a half. When used a lot it's even shorter. But all in all it's a really good trainer and we bought a second one.The key selling points for this product are (1) train 2 dogs and (2) works at large distance.Well, if large distance means you can't tell which dog is barking, which dog gets the trigger? You have no way to know!This is always the situation in a house or outside when you are not staring directly at the dogs. If you are in a bedroom or office, or around the corner of the house, or a few hundred feet away, and one of the dogs starts barking, you can't see which dog barked. So you either trigger both collars which is not good training or you have to get up and go see which dog is barking. That defeats the whole purpose of at-distance training.It seems that the best way for the manufacturer to solve the problem would be to have the collar detect when a dog barked, and then the trainer buttons only trigger at the collar which experienced the bark within the past 5 seconds or so. Probably there are other methods. But to have value for training two dogs at a distance, the trainer needs to know which dog collar should be triggered.This is my biggest frustration with the product. Probably wouldn't have purchased if I had thought about this issue up front.The wife just could not figure out why the dog did not seem to care about the shock. Once she removed the covers from the contacts it worked great. The dog is learning VERY quickly to listen. Easy to use and works great. Nice range as well. Well made. Would buy again.I have several of these and I try them on my hand first and this collar hurts! On setting one it just about knocked me down. The buzz and noise function was erratic and did not always work. The fit was fine but function lacked. I will not use this product again.- No country of origin (illegal in the US)- Sound level is always the same no matter what level you put it on, and it's a very low volume. Electronic beep- No charging light on remote nor receiver, no way to see battery level at all on receiverI've never been able to get it to work.
