I saved a dog on 05/22/23 from a person who was abusing and neglecting her. I took her to the vet the day I got her because she looked very sick and she was extremely underweight. My vet said she was very dehydrated, hungry, had hookworms and worse of all heartworms. I was shocked. The treatment for the heartworms is 6 months long and during the whole 6 months she must remain calm and quiet. Basically on bed rest but for dogs. So I was looking for something like this huge dog bed so we could cuddle together and so she could be comfortable during treatment.This human dog bed is so perfect and exactly what I was looking for!1. It is extremely comfortable- it is very very soft, and it is so plush. The outline of the bed is like a big pillow that goes all around the bed! When laying down on the bed you can't feel the floor at all. It is padded well and it doesn't hurt my hips or back laying on it like the floor would.2. I bought the regular sized bed, and it is big enough for me and my dog. Me and my hubby also laid in it together and we both fit in it too! (& me and my hubby are not small people by any means! ?) It definitely is roomie and you won't feel squished up. For reference I am 5'5 & 230 lbs. My hubby is 5'10 & 250 lbs. My dog is 24" & 60 lbs.3. It is easy to move & easy to store. It also didn't come with any weird or bad smells. The color I bought matches what the picture shows also.4. It comes with a super soft blanket! It is a really good sized blanket too! & So soft and warm. It also matches the color of the bed exactly!4. It has a removable cover - BUT---The ONLY thing that I didn't like about this amazing dog/human bed was the zipper placement for the removable cover. The zipper runs along the inside of the bed kind of tucked under the big pillow edge.Well when we 1st showed my dog her new bed she got over excited and a little cra cra. She got so excited that she started rubbing herself all over the bed and doing flips and barrel rolls over and over and over. Well after about 10 minutes of this the bed finally had enough of her abuse and the zipper caught her somehow. She yelped and stopped immediately and was looking at the bed like wtf I thought we were best friends? I felt horrible! But she got over it in like 2 minutes. Now I just try kept blankets where the zipper won't be exposed. Plus as long as your not barrel rolling in the bed you should be fine!Other then that this bed is so amazing and I am so happy I made this purchase!It took me like 2 days to finally decide if I wanted to take a chance on getting one and I'm so glad i decided yes!I love it and she loves it more!If you're interested in buying a human dog bed I definitely would recommend this one! You won't be disappointed and neither will you best furry friend(s)!!!(The back & white photos are from the camera I have in the room to be able to watch her and it is on night vision mode- the pictures really don't do this bed justice!)
