Could have been much betterMuch prettier than I expected. Subtle pattern with colors that change in different light. Strong with an easy snap. It’s nice that the extra large is thick.I have now purchased two of these collars, and they really are exceptionally well made. I bought the first collar almost a year ago, before this store was an amazon store, from etsy. I paid double on etsy.However, the first collar came to me feeling "handmade", almost pre-softened, while the new one I just got is stiff, feels like it was manufactured.I make a habit of running my fingers around the inside of any collar before I put it on, and while it is in use, checking for sharp edges or inconsistencies. The thread in the new collar had to be reduced (I used a metal file) because in several places on seams, the end of the thread, which feels plastic, was poking out like a sharp little needle. Also, the corners of the plastic hardware pieces were quite sharp, and I had to use the file on those as well. Tiny little irritants like that can manifest themselves anywhere from a chronic itch to an open sore pretty quickly.The older collar is every bit as vibrant and still in very good shape after almost a year on a large and playful puppy. I hope that the new one, for her smaller older brother bears up as well!!This is the first time I have ordered this collar. I have been very pleased with everything about it. The lock works great, lots of colors to choose from and very sturdy!Nice design. Clasp is great. Comfortable and light weight.Excellent collar! Not only is it good looking it's rugged enough for my German Shepherd.Looks exactly like picture, sturdy and easy to fasten.
