My dog hates to get wet so it's important to be able to wring this thing out WELL. The first time I didn't do so well and he got soaked; didn't want to walk with it on. BUT I encouraged him and he eventually did walk with it and was perfectly cool the whole time. I kept putting my hand underneath to feel and it was warm, but the jacket wicks it away so they feel cooler. I have a cooling towel I drape around my neck so I understand how it works and it's amazing how it does it! Once I developed a better technique for wringing it out, the dog was happier wearing it cause he wasn't getting drenched anymore. He HATES getting wet. I think he's the incarnation of a Maguai from the movie Gremlins. Anyway, BUY THIS COOLING JACKET. Your dog will thank you!
