I'm not normally one for leaving reviews however after ordering this cone after my dog had an operation felt that others considering purchasing needed to know what it was like as it is completely unfit for purpose.I ordered this item and another similar one from another seller in a smaller size. Fortunately the smaller one fit him better and was much better quality (it was around £3 more expensive). Both arrived the same day and appeared very similar BUT this cone is extremely FLIMSY! It would not stop any dog reaching a wound etc to stop them from licking at it, literally just folds right over when pushed against (I have tried to show in the pictures).I wanted to get a soft recovery cone as he walks into everything and catches all our legs in the vet provided ones and the vet said as they are transparent dogs havent got the visual ability to know where the cone starts/ends which is why their spacial awareness when wearing them is poor. I also wanted to get a flexible one so that when we are around the house with him we can fold it back so he can still eat/drink. The other one we ordered which I have included a picture on my dog so you can hopefully see the difference.
