I think this does the job so far. I use this on my rough collie. He doesn't pull. I ordered a small thinking for my pom mix but its big enough for my collie.I was really impressed with this collar when it first arrived. It fit the dog well, and seemed very durable. But a month or so later, we noticed fur rubbing away from where the clasp hits his neck. Never used a martingale collar with a clasp before and we won't use one again. The photo shows the rub spot on our 7-month-old pup's neck. We've switched from the collar to the vest while this heals. That is his vest you are seeing in the photo.It fits very big. Waiting for my dog to grow more. Whole purpose was to get rid of the chain choke collar.Run large! And quite wide for my petite min pin.I had to return them.Best bang for the buck! Slightly bigger than the basic large size, so adjusts well.Nice sturdy collar. Metal hardware and can even lock. I love this for my bruno. Nice for long walks and stops him from pulling.Very sturdy.
